Festivities

A week full of action for me - I was down in London on Monday night for my Tenacious D winnings (which was excellent, and I spent the following day getting a bit of culture as well. Oh, and some dinosaurs also.) Oh for an underground system (or a decent over ground transit system) here in Birmingham. As an "outsider" being able to traverse large unknown areas of a largely unknown city in the relative safety of a train makes an evening out a lot more pleasant.

Anyway... other exciting events this week have seen the inevitable passage of time make me a year older. This is to be celebrated properly tomorrow, as will Yule and the solstice. And it will be celebrated in the form of vodka. Hoorah!
