In one of the later Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy books, the late great Douglas Adams raised the question of what would happen if a tenth planet were discovered in our solar system: specifically, what the impact would be on horoscopes. I mean, it must have been a culture shock enough when astrologers discovered that Scorpio might have Pluto rising, rather than the more boring but better known Mars and Venus, but surely it will throw a complete wobbly into the whole thing if there is a tenth planet as well?

And I'm glad to say that astronomers (that's the people that really know their stars) have indeed discovered what they believe to be a tenth planet. I've always enjoyed lightly taking the p out of those poor deluded (almost always female) souls who look to horoscopes for guidance...
