It's been a little while since I last bothered to write anything here, but I feel a need now.

Firstly, I have a lovely new girl friend, who isn't actually that new but that's a long story I'm not going to go into now, oh, okay, she's an old girlfriend who didn't get the best time-slot in my life previously, and is fitting much more nicely into the current one. Where was I?

Ah yes... Secondly... and titularily, DIY. In fact UberDIY.

I've knocked out part of a fine, structural, brick wall in my house to move a doorway. The house has yet to fall down. My DIY skills have improved...
